Can anyone advie what the term "magic loop" means when referring to knitting - could it be what we used to refer to as continental kniwwint???

Re: knitting
Hi Pam,
Magic Loop Knitting is a form of knitting socks on a circular needle. A weird but wonderful way of making socks, without the use of 4 x double pointed needles. How? If you can get on you tube and type in magic loop knitting, you will see how its done.

magic loop refers to a method of knitting with circular needles when the knitting gets too small.
